Join us in celebrating 250 years of American history as the 38-piece Long Island Concert Orchestra takes us on a sweeping musical journey from the fife-and-drum spirit of 1776 through Sousa’s brass-fueled marches to soaring, cinematic Americana and salutes to the Armed Forces. The program will includes performances of The Star Spangled Banner (Arr. Walter Damrosch), America the Beautiful (Arr. Alfred Reed), the main theme from The Patriot (John Williams), Fanfare for the Common Man (Aaron Copland), The Stars and Stripes Forever (John Philip Sousa), Armed Forces Salute (Arr.
