Live Edition is our new flagship educational program that invites students from across Long Island to see live productions of material studied in schools and attend informative talkbacks following each performance. Our goal for this program is to offer unique and enriching educational experiences for students across grade levels as well as subject areas. Each production will also be presented to our general audience with evening performances for all to enjoy great literature and personalities brought to the stage.

To Kill a Mockingbird tells the story of Scout Finch growing up in the racially segregated American South, where her father, Atticus, defends a Black man falsely accused of a serious crime. The novel holds lasting literary significance for its poignant portrayal of justice, morality, and empathy, making it a cornerstone of American literature and social conscience.
• Performances begin at 9:30am and run for approx. 1 hour and 45 minutes with no intermission
• Each performance is followed by an optional Q&A talkback with the director and performers
• Program is available through BOCES Arts-in-Eduction Catalog
• Resource guide is available
• Tickets are $15 per student
